HOLLA! - How Are the Children?
Inspired by the Masai greeting "Casserian Engeri," we believe the well-being of our children is the true measure of our community's success. Join us in creating a future of promise, opportunity, and hope for all children.
A Founder's Awakening
While setting up for a Martin Luther King Jr. Prayer Breakfast, Leon Gatewood was confronted with a stark reality: "Only 54% of my students are reading on grade level." Later that day, he heard about the Masai tribe's greeting, "How are the children?" - a question that would transform his perspective and inspire action.
